The Operation Linebacker II operation was conducted from 18 to 29 December 1972. Hanoi was bombed by B-52, many were shot down and the wreckage of one can be still seen inside the lake of Huu Tiep. 47 bombs were collected from the site.
It is one the places that the patriotism and pride of Vietnamese people is enhanced.
